EyeMed Vision Care, part of the Luxottica family, provides vision insurance for families and individuals with over 40 million members. The company updated its brand in 2013. In the months that followed, they rolled out the new brand at their corporate headquarters in Mason, Ohio.

About The Project

EyeMed’s brand modernization represented a significant change in the look and feel of the brand. Iacono was tasked with bringing the new brand to life. We were to carry the brand into every aspect of the office by installing graphics for a variety of applications and fabricating unique branded pieces.

Challenges

We were to create anticipation in the weeks leading up to the brand launch with teaser graphics around the campus. Our goals also included successfully showcasing the brand’s key messages in fun and relatable ways, both temporary and permanent.

Solution

We worked in all mediums with the branding, including painting the walls and highlighting the space with graphics featuring key messaging. We also designed and printed custom wallpaper and created dimensional pieces featuring the new logo. To make sure the new brand stayed tied to parent company Luxottica, we designed one wall with a timeline that displayed EyeMed’s history with Luxottica.

What a unique challenge! EyeMed asked Iacono to deliver a multi-phased launch of their new brand identity within their contemporary corporate offices. Our installers dressed in EyeMed-green jumpsuits, which helped pique interest of employees. We enjoyed seeing the curious reactions. It was rewarding to create an expressive space where EyeMed associates can be excited to come to work everyday.
