About The Project

PLTW wanted to grow their event in terms of production value, professionalism, and execution. A nonprofit group, their budget was modest, but they had a big vision for connecting with and inspiring teachers. Our mission was to balance a seminar-like atmosphere with some moments of genuine connection – providing a memorable and worthwhile professional development experience for educators.

Challenges

Create a dynamic set, develop the tone for the keynotes, and inspire educators—all while staying within the client’s budget. Create an entertainment concept that compliments the tone of the event, and recognize sponsors in an effective and sophisticated way.

Solution

We used our “Solutions Set”. This is a modular set that can be configured in numerous ways and is easily personalized with branding and creative lighting. Local high school bands and choirs performed which reiterated the program goal: to help students achieve their best. Our branding strategy provided an excellent backdrop for sponsors and other vendors to reach educators with important messages about new technology that is improving STEM curriculum.

Thank you for all you did to help make the 2014 PLTW Summit such a success! We have received so much feedback from our guests about the set, branding and production of the event. You truly helped us make our guests feel valued and appreciated. Mission accomplished!
